Hi, my name is Nelson I went to Viet Nam with the 7th of the 8th in June of 1965.
I was mostly with B battery although at times was assigned to help 'A' and 'C' batteries.  I was also part of the 1st Heavy Artillery airlift. It seems like we were always on the move.  
I don't remember a whole lot about the people I served with and the places we were at.  
While in Viet Nam I was mostly working in ammunitions, hauling ammunition sometimes by truck.
Where we were airlifted, I used to get pallets of ammunition from the end of the short airstrip and bring the ammo to the bunkers inside the compound once they were completed.
